Terms of sale
1. Who you are buying from
dubem is operated by [OPERATING COMPANY], [STREET AND NUMBER], [POSTCODE] [CITY]. These terms apply to every purchase made on dubem.io.
2. What you are buying
A digital collectible — a token recorded on a public blockchain, transferred to a vault we create for you. You are buying that specific token.
It is not an investment. It pays no interest, no dividend and no yield. Nothing guarantees you can resell it, or at what price, and its value may fall to nothing. We make no promise about future value. Buy things you actually want to own.
3. Stock is real
Every item listed is one we already hold. When you begin checkout we reserve it for 20 minutes; if you do not complete payment in that time it returns to sale. Occasionally an item is bought by someone else moments before you — if that happens we tell you before taking any payment.
4. Price and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and include VAT where it applies. Payment is by card and is handled entirely by our payment provider — dubem never sees or stores your card details. Your provider may apply its own fees or exchange rates.
5. Delivery
Delivery is automatic. The same transaction that takes your payment transfers the collectible to your vault, usually within moments. You can see it under your vault and the transaction is recorded in your order history.
6. Your right to cancel — and its limits
As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. Digital content delivered immediately is an exception: by starting the payment you ask us to deliver at once and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal the moment delivery completes (§ 356(5) BGB).
Before delivery you may cancel freely — just abandon or cancel the checkout.
7. If something goes wrong
If a payment is taken and the collectible does not arrive, contact us and we will either complete delivery or refund you in full. Statutory rights in respect of defects are unaffected.
8. Your account
Keep your login details to yourself. Your vault is secured by access to your email address, so control of that inbox means control of your collectibles. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access.
9. What we are responsible for
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For ordinary negligence we are liable only where we breach an obligation essential to the contract, and then only for foreseeable, typical loss.
We are not responsible for public blockchain networks themselves, for what third-party collections do with their own artwork or metadata, or for loss of access to your email account.
10. Law and jurisdiction
German law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
